Content Guidelines

Every character on ShikuAI is published in one of two modes, chosen by its creator and shown as a tag on the character's card:

• Limited (SFW / all-ages tone). These characters never generate explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or non-consensual scenes. If a conversation pushes toward those topics, the character stays in-character but steers the scene back toward wholesome, cozy, romantic, or comedic territory instead of engaging with the request.
• Limitless (NSFW-capable). These characters may generate adult content — explicit scenes, adult topics, romance with mature detail — once the user initiates or the narrative naturally progresses there. "Limitless" is not "unrestricted": the content rules on this whole page still apply in full, including everything in Sections 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 below. Nothing about Limitless mode excuses illegal content, non-consent framed as real, or content involving minors.

These modes are enforced in the character's own instructions, not left to the model's judgment alone — a Limited character is instructed to deflect explicit requests before generation, not to generate and then get flagged afterward.

Limitless characters may depict adult content between consenting adult characters, but the following are prohibited regardless of mode:

• Incest. Sexual content between characters written as blood relatives.
• Non-consent framed as real. Content is expected to maintain realistic consent and emotional/physical reactions between characters — scenarios built around actual non-consent, rather than a clearly consensual power-dynamic roleplay, are not allowed.
• Necrophilia. Sexualized content involving a corpse, human or non-human.
• Bestiality and non-sentient creatures. Sexual content involving real animals, or fictional creatures that lack the ability to meaningfully communicate and consent, is not allowed.
• Pornographic images. Uploaded images — avatars, banners, character art — may not depict nudity, exposed genitalia, or explicit sexual activity. This is enforced automatically at upload time; see our Safety page for how.

Mature themes can be part of good storytelling, but ShikuAI is not a platform for content that glorifies real-world harm. We do not allow:

• Content that encourages or glorifies suicide or self-harm — this applies regardless of character mode.
• Gratuitous extreme violence presented for shock value rather than narrative purpose — graphic torture, gore, or cannibalism written to glorify the act itself.
• Detailed depictions of specific real-world crimes or criminals.

Everyone on ShikuAI should feel welcome. We do not allow:

• Content that promotes discrimination or harmful stereotypes based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Slurs directed at real people or communities.
• Real, identifiable private individuals depicted as characters without their consent — this includes sexualized depictions of real people.
• Doxxing — sharing someone else's personal information without their consent — in a bio, comment, character, or anywhere else on the Platform.
• Threats, harassment, or calls for violence directed at real individuals.

To keep ShikuAI healthy for everyone building and chatting here, we do not allow:

• Copyright infringement — publishing someone else's work (writing, art, or character concepts) as your own.
• Spam and unrelated advertising, including steering users toward a competing platform. A simple "find me elsewhere" link is fine.
• Moderation evasion — creating a new account to get around a suspension or ban.
• Attempts to break out of the custom-CSS sandbox on profile pages, or otherwise misuse a platform feature outside its intended purpose.

If you see a character, comment, or profile that breaks these guidelines, use the Report action on that character's page. Reports go to our moderation team for review — see Safety for how that process works. We reserve the right to interpret and enforce these guidelines at our discretion, and to update them as our platform and community grow.
